The GRASS project

The GRASS project develops and uses innovative pedagogical approaches and Open Badges to enable grading and recognition of learners’ soft skills – enthusiasm, positive attitude, collaboration, communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, teamwork, networking, managing divergence, leadership, emotional awareness, problem solving, critical thinking, confidence to be different, differentiation of contributions, exploration, and the like. The project focuses on different educational contexts of the involved partners’ institutions, and helps both the teachers and the learners of different ages to better assess all types of learning outcomes, advantages, and future learning needs. Using Open Badges enables grading of soft skills in formal, non-formal and informal learning settings.
